Grass cushion from the artist’s family garden, tenderly preserved and never used. In 2020 the lives of all Italians totally changed due to Covid and subsequently the lockdown, and for this reason the work is entitled “March 2020” and tells the story of the grass born in that period.

We were all cooped up in our houses and nature started to blossom. The smell in the air seemed to come directly from the mountains. Flowers, insects and all of nature tried to flourish as much as they could. The artist collected and preserved a small piece of that freedom that in cities can take root only in limited capacity.
