YOU’RE BROODING IT
Performance
steel bowl
neodymium magnet
chair type: the old inn
It is a performative action where the artist asks for an act of love of the public towards an object: the seemingly playful action of warming with its own bodily heat a mirrored bowl. The fundamental requirement is that the performer, who chooses to participate, tries to find a comfortable position so that he can comfortably wrap the sphere to warm it in the way it feels most appropriate. The bowl must be protected and treated with the utmost care, the action can be prolonged as long as it is desired, in the intent and in the challenge of keeping it always warm. The important thing is that the sphere can hold the trace of those who brooded it.
