The installation consists of a video composition of people talking about their sexual experiences and opening themselves up to the camera as they would to a close friend. However the synchronized projection of all the videos makes it impossible for the viewer to listen to each of the voices distinctly: the result is total chaos. In such confusion every confession is preserved and the viewer is therefore brought to acknowledge what’s usually ignored: the gestures and facial expressions of each person.
This installation draws inspiration from the modern interest towards reality shows and the tendency to turn private life into a performance in order to entertain an curious and fickle audience.
